  • Best camera bag for em-1 plus several lenses

    I currently have a manfrotto advanced holster (small) holds my cam and 12-40 perfectly along with a lens pouch for macro lens.
    Love the case as it a snug fit and very easy to throw camera in and out whilst being left open on walks.

    Awaiting arrival 40-150 so need something slightly bigger. My only issue is that I Fly often so dont want to be stung with checking in my regular hand luggage any ideas welcome.

    LowePro slingshot 202AW will carry that lot OK with room for other travel stuff, and is fully flight-friendly.

        I generally go through check in with the camera itself (usually EM-1 with attached 12-60mm) out of the bag and over my shoulder instead. Never gets noticed or weighed...

              I've been using one of the old E-System shoulder bags for my E-M1 kit, it works well for me.

                I have a national geographic bag - bought it on a whim. Packed properly I can get my E-M1, 7-14 f.28, 12-40 f2.8, 8 inch tablet, Samyang 7.5 fisheye, old 40-150 with 4/3rds to m4/3rds adaptor and a snack in it.

                It's actually quite a good bag, and the padded section comes out so you can use it as a normal bag too

                The model is the

                I think it doesn't look too much like a camera bag either (although the Mrs disagrees)
                OMD E-M1, 12-40 f2.8 pro, 40-150 f2.8 pro, MC-14, MMF-3 & 70-300 f4-5.6

                  Have you considered the: Tenba Tools BYOB10 ( + the associated Packlite optional cover/shoulder bag) ?
                  It is well padded, compact and accommodates;
                  E-M1 + 12-40 Pro, 40-150 Pro + MC14, 60 f2.8 macro + spare batteries etc.

                  If you experiment with the divider insert positions you can organise that the E-M1 with either of the Pro lens attached can be stowed (together with the other lenses).

                  See: http://www.tenba.com/uk/products/too...ra-insert.aspx

                              Sorry to make your choice more difficult, but you might look at the Think Tank Retrospective range.
