    Hi, welcome aboard.

Yes it is possible and many people here do so very successfully. There are lots of adapters around. I find a good place for all sorts of things like this is SRB-Griturn - http://srb-photographic.co.uk/ . They are under Adaptors/Lens adaptors/Micro Four Thirds Lens Adaptors. They are a family-run firm based in the UK and have been very helpful whenever I have called them.

    Best of luck ... John

Phiggy, what is really nice about the OMD is the manual focusing tools such as magnify. They make manual focusing a pleasure and very accurate, even with my ageing eyesight.

And Olympus themselves make such an adaptor. Don't forget that aperture control will be manual as well as focussing.

The OM Zuiko 24mm f/2.8 is considered by many to be one of the best lenses on the FT & MFT systems as it provides for an approximate "standard" lens.

The 50mm f/1.4 is very good for portrait work and while not as good as the FT 50mm f/2.0 it performs very well.

Occasionally I even mount a Sigma 600mm, which gives a massive 1200 eqv..

          Have fun

They work adequately but don't expect them to perform quite like the MFT lenses. They were designed for a larger format. I have been down this route extensively with Leica, Canon and OM lenses, all are OK but only really deliver to their highest standard when used on full frame.

The native m.Zuikos (well some of them) are better on MFT generally.

The best OM Zuiko lens I have is the 100mm f2.8. A seriously sharp lens, well worth looking out for.

Couldn't agree more. I rarely use my 50 and 135, but they are items of beauty and so well made. And it is fun sometimes to see how good an image you can actually get from them.

I often carry my 50mm/F1.2 and 24mm/F2 Zuikos. The latter is a very nice looking lens but doesn't see much action now I have the 12-40/F2.8 to replace the 12-50mm standard zoom. The 50mm should really be replaced with the 45mm m.Zuiko but great value though the latter is I would still lose a couple of F stops and the money can go to the 40-150mm.

Remember that these lenses have a larger image circle so can be used with a Metabones style adapter to halve the focal length and increase effective aperture.

I have regularly used an MF-1 adaptor to shoot birds with OM telephoto lenses on my E5 and the results can be very good for record shots. Bought an MMF-3 when I got my OM-D E-5 but have not tried both adaptors together. MF-2 would not get the use to justify another 150 quid for occasional outings.
