  • Cuba 73 - Vinales

This red soil is very characteristic of Vinales. Farming is still done the old fashioned way with ox ploughing and plenty of hard graft. Lots of horses, and now motorbikes too!

    Two trees path.

    A country home.

    The saddle tree.

    Petrol powered horse for 2.

Shot with your usual clarity, this rural set adds a new dimension to your other Cuban shots, Andrew.

Although the soil looks more yellow than red.

Interesting views & I notice that these country homes also have TV too.

TV programs are collected and rebroadcast by the state, for "free", including a lot of European football. It's surprising how many football supporters of Spanish clubs there are in Cuba!

More great images of the rural side of life in Cuba. The pink motorcycle looks a little out of place against the shack in No2.
