One can only marvel at the meaning of such a thing and the internet has not helped much either! I did see several chickens tethered outside houses and can only assume they were for fighting, but thankfully I did not see any evidence of it.

My God, she's a buxom young lady! Poor cockerel!! I would assume that the fork relates to her dinner....riding it home, or something like that..
As for the other chicken, it does look bedraggled and forlorn, tied up like that. Poor devil, most upsetting. I daren't show my wife that image, she would be furious that people could treat a creature like that.
The main shot though is truly intriguing.

That is unusual & so I had to research to find out what it was about & found this here.
A few hours ago in the ancient Old Square of Havana a monumental work of Roberto Fabelo was placed. The figure, made of bronze, was donated by the 2004National Arts Award winner to the historic center of the capital.
