I like the composition of this.
You have captured some excellent shots. Was there any hostility towards you and the camera?

I've been following your posts about Cuba with interest. I love the way you have documented your trip. Did you organise it yourself or use a tour guide. We are thinking of going next year.Jim

We organised it our selves. In terms of crime Cuba is very safe. If you have a 'resort' holiday you will get a very different experience. It can be quite a challenge day to day, but it is a fantastic place to visit. My wife was all set to come home after the first day, but now she wants to go back!

Hi Beagletorque, I hope it isnt too much to ask, my wife and I are thinking of going to Cuba but dont want a resort holiday, could you suggest places to stay, we are thinking of a two to three weeks holiday, did you stay in one place or did you perhaps change apartments/hotels, also did you find nice cafe/restaurants to eat. Any information about organising our own itinery would be most helpful, thanks in anticipation,Raymondo
P.S. I think that there will be quite a few oly users that would be interested in your general info and suggestions. thanks

Re: Cuba 152 - Obrapia by street light
Hi, thanks for the info that you have given and I will look forward to further info from you.
I am in the same situation as yourself, as I am a budget traveller and my wife is a little more particular. I understand that Cuba may not come up to western standards but if you want to visit places, you have to compromise and adjust your expectations.Having said all that, Cuba looks a very interesting and beautiful country to visit and photograph, and I think a few weeks without the internet wont be a problem(not to me anyhow) again I say thank you.
P.S. I am leaning to the lower end of accomadation prices that you quoted LOL.
