    I think I prefer the first one with the different coloured patches of light. A super shot.

      Much prefer the first one, with the wonderful faded colours - even though it's digital, the colours give the image an old film look.

        I like monochrome, but I think colour is better for this subject. The different colours are magic.

          Love the mood of the B&W but that scene was made for colour!

            Hi there Beagletorque!

            I honestly cannot choose between them - I love the colours in the first, but I love the way the black and white highlights the shape of the car and the way that it is lit in the second. Both are fantastic and both would make great prints for a wall.

              Two superb shots that complement each other in different ways.

              Looking at all the old cars and, now that Cuba has opened up, I can see a deluge of yankee-doodle-dandie car enthusiasts descending on the owners waving $ bills in the hope of scooping up a bargain.

              As for the series, for me this continues to be the armchair holiday of a lifetime.
              It's not what inspires us that is important, it's where the journey takes us.
