Cuba 75 - Horsing around.

Vinales is in the Pinar Del Rio Province famed for its tobacco production and is also a mecca for tourist horse trekking. Horses are still used extensively as a normal mode of transport and the natural ability of the Cuban riders is something to behold. I imagine the "wild west" was a similar situation back in the day. Around the dusty tracks of the area it's almost impossible to get a shot without a group trek appearing over the horizon. The price is very cheap and 1 hour horsing around can be had for $3, bring your own safety gear!

The horse was going full pelt as they disappeared, so fast the AF could not keep up!
I felt a little sorry for the horse having to breath in all that bike smoke.

Great compositions, all of them, and I very much like the bright colours for this subject. Also many good examples of the use of a wide angle lens, not to squeeze as much into the frame as possible, but to make the subjects stand out, even in an image that's sharp corner to corner. Really hard to pick a favourite.
