the photos were taken with the camera in more or less the same position at a high frame rate. I then loaded them into Photoshop as individual layers and PS aligned them automatically for me. Then with layer masks I just painted the bits in and out that I needed. As the backgrounds were the same, it was "relatively" easy to do except where there was "person overlap". This needed a bit more accuracy and to decide which bit should go in front. Apparently it can be done in ICE 2.0 easily from a video clip! If there was no "person overlap" then it would be a doddle...
