The hop on and off "Bus Tour" was a great way to get about Havana for $5 all day. Running on 2 routes, as far as the Eastern Beaches on one and past the Hemingway Marina on the other, just remember to get a handwritten pass when you get off if you want to get back on for "free". It was a great way to snipe a few shots providing a) you sat on the left side to avoid being lacerated by overhanging branches and b) kept an eye out for low hanging cables which would quite literally decapitate you if you're standing up!

Those cables do not look safe!
Bus looks quite new, though and the fare is a real bargain.John

Re: Cuba 64 - Don't lose your head.
Quite a revelation after some of the other shots! And the Zhenzhou Yutong bus is quite interesting - they are a premium Chinese brand, even making hybrid and electric buses; I wouldn't have expected to see one in Cuba! However, Cuba bought them for long-distance routes. They must have some money, then, after all.
"Don't be tempted to touch the cables, even if prompted by a charming photographer, they could be live!" Now that would make a really cracking shot! Especially if you could capture the arc as the passenger's fingers neared the cable...
Looks as though there isn't enough height under the cables for a covered bus, or even a canvas tilt. H'mmm! And #2: Che Guevara is an example of virtue? Really? When the Yanks get in there in force, they'll have take signs like that down, methinks.
Great travelogue! Keep 'em coming. It looks as though you must have almost worn your camera out, having taken so many.
