Not Safe For Water! Shocking pictures that will liven you up and offer plenty of pun opportunities! This was the wiring to our shower unit when we stayed in Vinales for a few days! The head had a 127 volt 4.8kW heater unit in it, it actually worked quite well and the tingling sensation from the electrified water was quite pleasant once you got used to it (joke).

    ATENCAO!

    Colour coded wiring.

    Nice clean grouting.

No the exposed terminal isn't the earthing strap!

I like the way these innovative Cubans think, and also you masterful insights to it!

        Nice reportage, Andrew.

That is shocking! I'm glad you escaped unscathed.

I'm feeling quite electrified with these. They remind me of the tricks we used to play on apprentices on their first day - get 'em to hold two pairs of wires together, then go and crank the megger on the other end! (The only difference? The megger wouldn't kill you!)

Was this REALLY a hotel that you stayed in? Are you sure it wasn't an old execution chamber?

Well, what can I say.......well captured....? Sparky-ling stuff? Shockingly good?

Or just AAARRRGGHHH! ! ! ! That HURT!

Thanks Keith, I thought I could rely on you! Not a hotel but "Casa Particular". When I get to them I'll post up some of the everyday on street wiring too!

                  Eh, less of that!!

I take it that is a sort of pension/B&B? I guess street wiring is something like it is in India as it's shown on the internet?
