Re: Cuba 15
More insanely captivating pictures from a uniquely beautiful country. The blue car by the quiet park looks like it has a serious oil leak! I just love the motorised bicycle, it re-defines Heath Robinson!

Re: Cuba 15
Funnily enough cars are insanely expensive. Government supplied new cars (Brazilian or Mexican built Peugeots, I think) cost around $200,000! So a good condition Yank motor can fetch $30,000. I think it is because taxi drivers can make good money in the new "private" sector.Originally posted by KeithL View PostYou weren't in the market for a car, I presume...?

I'm probably about the sae age as the car and I too have a serious leak problem.
Comes with the territory.

Or else put the sump plug in properly!
I'm wondering how many SD cards you filled to bursting there! The problem with such photogenic places, you find it terribly hard to be discerning, and just keep on snapping away. Good place to go to wear our cameras out!
The motorised bike: I like the bottles attached to it. Looks like a bottle of oil hanging from the handlebars........ And it looks like the engine is held on with Jubilee clips!

I did fill nearly half a terabyte worth of SD cards while I was there.Originally posted by KeithL View PostOr else put the sump plug in properly!

Mind you I've never managed to break a shutter on any of the cameras I've owned yet! With digital you seem to get a new one every couple of years anyway so you might as well try to get the most out of it. I did need to buy a new 2TB drive when I got back to process the RAW files onto, the keeper rate with the E-M1 is just too high.
