Pano from behind the castle. Note the massive amount of pollution being pumped out from the oil fired power station!
Not so good for a nice clear photo. Next pano will be from the base of the lighthouse just before you plunge down the vertical face onto the rocks below!
The slightly dilapidated building in the castle is the control tower for all marine traffic entering the harbour, including oil tankers and bulk carriers.
If you go anywhere near it when you visit the castle and lighthouse then the marine traffic controllers come storming out to try and get you look around inside the control tower so they can get a cash tip!
The rusting guns in the foreground are set off each night at 9pm and can be heard all across the city. It is to signify that ancient city gates are closed and all is safe from marauding pirates!
