Curious Robin

There I was, a-digging this hole
A hole in the ground, so big and sort of round it was
There was I, digging it deep
It was flat at at the bottom and the sides were steep
....
Bernard Cribbins (The Hole In The Ground)

There I was digging this hole,
Worms for the takin' and a robin on the makin'
Bugs on the bushes and bugs on the ground,
Robin was happy, and the hole was sound.

Thanks Mark. The hole was actually a trench for some concrete edging as we are gravelling part of the front. I did dig up some juicy worms which were appreciated. The robin was quite happy hopping within 2 feet of me.

Re: Curious Robin

Excellent image. It’s nice when you can entice them to come and model for you.

Thanks Jason. I'm still waiting for that elusive robin on the handle of a fork in the snow shot though.
