Re: Pick Of The Gallery - POTG
Now that I like.
![]() Superb shot from an excellent viewpoint if I may say so. The touch of mist over the water adds to the atmosphere too. The strong shapes lend themselves to B&W. I would imagine colour could be quite disappointing by comparison?

I agree it's a cracking shot. Definitely a worthy POTG.

Re: Pick Of The Gallery - POTG
Classy shot of the bridge, as good as any I've seen of it.
![]() I really liked this one of the decommissioned nuclear power station at Chapelcross, Annan, by Gregles. There's a beautiful grungy feel which suits the subject matter perfectly. And that threatening sky is just marvellous. ![]()

Re: Pick Of The Gallery - POTG
I thought it was time that this thread was resurrected.
Browsing the gallery I particularly liked this atmospheric shot of a Stormy sea at Charmouth taken by Jim Ford. The sea spray and the figure on the beach just makes it. ![]()

Re: Pick Of The Gallery - POTG
I think Mark's (Pandora) shot of the Maldon to Castlemaine Gold Train is a worthy contender. Having risked life and limb climbing on to the car roof we should applaud his well rewarded efforts.
