I found an old ruined building this weekend and liked this window and graffiti. Ran the HDR a little dirtier and not as life like to get the graffiti to turn out like I wanted.

    It works for me.

The HDR enhanced colours are good and I like the way the bramble goes through the window and connects with the scenery in the background.

Love the shot and the colours - graffiti makes for some fantastic photo opportunites with wonderful colours to contrast with normally fairly drab backgrounds. This works well here.

As a critique, I'd possibly crop down a bit to remove the black graffiti above the window - this would then add emphasis to the contrast between the view through the window and the colourful graffiti on the concrete wall.

I'd also possibly add a bit more blue to the sky to add 'punch' to this area to counterbalance the pinky red of the graffiti and even compliment the greens and yellows of the foliage?

Thanks for the comments. Catkins, you had some interesting ideas that I tried. I darkened the sky by 16% and took out the graffiti above and to the right of the window. I looked at both and like the changes; it seems to clean up the image and has you looking through the window at the right.

        Thanks

Good to see the example - and to my eyes as well it does seem to improve the overall image! (Biased opinion perhaps ). It also now has three key elements; the pink graffiti, the window, and importantly, the bramble that leads the eye up into and then out of the window - the latter plays quite a key role in the success of your image.
