Given the amount of time you spend on photography I'm not surprised you don't have time to maintain your house properly.

That's how my house would look if I did it up.

Cracking shot, Mark. Great subject, well composed with strong foreground interest - I love it.

It's a lovely shot Mark. Evocative.
As always with these scenes, I can't help wondering who lived there and why it fell into disrepair.
              Lovely composition.

                Very nice.

                Is that the sea beyond?

Just like that - gone in a flash! Now in use.

Not the sea but a vast inland reservoir in Central Victoria called Waranga Basin.
                  Thanks Barrie.

Another lovely photo of a place with a story to tell. Like Lyn, I am intrigued to know something about the place & the last occupants & what became of them & why they left. Floods? The old spoke wheels would seem to indicate life was happening there at least 100 years ago until sometime during the 1900's.

Thanks Mark for sharing another interesting shot.

                      What an interesting image.

Mark, I see you have used the 4/3 rule very effectively. The composition looks very well balanced with great colours and textures.

                      Thanks for sharing

I first saw and photographed this place about 10 yrs ago when it was much as it was when again I shot it this week.
At that time it was ok to wander onto the property and I did get a few different angles on the cottage.

Thanks for your much appreciated comment,Peter.
I must admit that I never consciously compose a picture by any rule.
When I see something that appeals to me visually I just choose a camera angle that looks right.
