  • First Outing with the E-30

After a long time of contemplating over the E-3 or E-30 I finally decided to gor the E-30 because of the new sensor and with Jessop's offering a deal that could not be missed that was that and I picked one up this morning.

I'm seriously impressed with the image quality of these Barrie. If this is the sensor they're putting in the successor to the E-3 I'm starting to save the dosh right now!

Did you have to do much/any post-processing (e.g use NeatImage or anything like that?).

Excellent shots - the insect shots are my personal favourites (but then I am biased !).

Super shots Barrie. Though I was always impressed by your shots, I'm sure the E-30 has added something.

The only P-P I have done is a sharpening using High Pass Filter.

            Dear Barrie,

All I can say is the rest of us might as well give up when you get the hang of how to use the E-30

Superb shots, they really are most impressive.

            Congratulations

            Chris

Very nice - clarity, colours, soft transitional tones and plenty of pixel info by the looks of it.

I too am waiting for the E3 successor to make my move....
