  • Squirrels and Pheasant in New Hide

A bit of patience this morning waiting on the squirrels to arrive and the light to come to allow a photo or two . Great way to spend a morning watching these wee guys run about. They hardly ever stop....

That looks a very special hide. Always lovely to see red squirrels and their antics. Would have been a great day.

I do love to see the red squirrels. Pheasants are nice both to look at and in the pot.

It's only recently been built but is great. Only 15 mins walk from my house.

Yeah, I've never come across a grey locally but they are in Dundee which is 15 miles south. Hopefully they don't reach here.

They are lovely in and out the pot. I actually have a partridge stew cooking just now. Think I eat more pheasant and partridge in season than I do chicken. Grouse and duck my favourite though.
