    Very nice.
Talisker bay was on my list when I visited Skye earlier in the year, but I didn't manage to fit it in.

Beautiful shot of a location I have been to many times, but not seen it quite like this!

A beautiful, tranquil scene Iain. I love the different textures in the foreground.

Great shot, you can almost taste the whisky!

I seem to remember us being there several years ago.

Looks like a gorgeous place from that cracking shot but I bet it was cold!
Always wanted to visit Skye especially when the Wee Tea Room was operating. Never made it though, maybe one day although it's too late for the Tea Room.

Hi Duncan, was that on the forum meet/trip? It seems a long while ago!

Here is a shot I took soon after, looking down and to the right of the above image:

The low sun was catching the edge of one of the rivulets in the dark sand of the bay

Interesting colour of sand. Nice abstract shot Iain.

Aye, it was. 11-12 June 2011!

I'm now having a lot of fun out taking picies in my retirement after 6 years of pro work.

We must get together again for an outing, perhaps also Steve.
I've got some ideas (and a lot of time).
The toy collection has been updated and enlarged.
                          I like the sand shot.

                            Sounds good to me!
I still have to earn a crust so it would have to be a weekend at this time of year, but I do have a few days of annual leave to take in Jan/Feb so let me know some of your ideas.

This works for me Iain but I am not a fan the tones in that sky in the first shot.
