A few shots of a female Black Redstart which I found in Lowestoft a couple of days ago. It was moving about high up on the railings at the foot of the large wind turbine, and flying up to catch insects from time to time. Not the easiest of settings as the turbine is surrounded by a tall chain link security fence, so I was having to shoot either over the top or through the mesh.

    E-M1 II, 300mm f4 and MC-14.

Nice and sharp shots. Can you merge the pose in #4 and the light in #2 using photoshop?

We have a rather small resident population here that settled in industrial areas offering suitable cliff-like buildings a few years ago; nobody knows for sure what made them stay. I have not spotted any yet, so a missing species as far as I am concerned. New project?

Well done Ron. Not a bird I would recognise.
