                            It looks similar to the cleaning sponge I have for getting the flies of my motorcycle visor - sponge inside a soft nylon net bag.

                              The white highlights look like crushed glass particles. I'm going for a fancy glass knife handle (end on) or some other glass object (eg light pull).
