Loads of Peacock Butterflies on the buddleia yesterday, problem was the high wind was whipping the flower stalks round like mad.

So out of 15 shots I got one fairly decent one that was not out of focus, just hope they come back again as they are one of my favourite butterflies.

E-PL5, m40-150mm + SigmaCUF, PP CO7 Pro.

That is nice and sharp ... I keep meaning to view from Firefox to see EXIF and now I shall to find which lens you used

I had the same problems yesterday ... so put out a white plate with slices of orange on it and drizzled some honey around the plate too slices of banana in the centre as well ...

Duh! just seen you posted exif info ... I am a little slow today ...

A lovely colourful shot with excellent detail. It looks like a Peacock to me though Paul. There are hundreds of them about at the moment.

Nice detailed image. I'm having trouble myself with windy conditions so I often use Manual mode so I can have a faster shutter speed and smaller aperture for DOF - leaving Auto ISO to sort out the exposure.

Yea I'm always worse in the hot weather.

Nice detailed image. I'm having trouble myself with windy conditions so I often use Manual mode so I can have a faster shutter speed and smaller aperture for DOF - leaving Auto ISO to sort out the exposure.

Thank you David, pretty much the same method I use and especially when using long focal lengths.
