  • A few from the Swamp recently

Diversity of the birds and bugs down at the local reserve has been pretty dire this summer but I managed a few shots over the last week or so. However didn't get the juvenile Cetti's Warbler that my mate caught and ringed just a minute after I left!

    Small Tortoiseshell, not long emerged:

    Gatekeeper, a little worn:

Juvenile Sedge Warbler, with speckled breast:

    Yawning I think:

    Adult, no breast speckling:

    Reed Warbler adult, ringed:

Juvenile Grey Heron stretching after a nap:

Green Sandpipers, starting to appear in larger numbers now:

All with E-M5 plus ED 75-300mm
