    There's nothing like a good scratch.
    A shot from mid January when the ice had only just started to take hold and the Ducks held a vigil on the ice waiting for it to thaw.......it's totally thick ice and snow now !!.

        Yes ...a false one though.

        There's a small flock of Teal on a lake close by that have been in more or less the same place all week - right on the edge of the ice/water.Bet they have moved today as the rest has frozen over now.

          They look a lot more appetising than the Peking Duck served up to me at a Chinese restaurant in Little Burke St., Melbourne earlier this week!
