Following a nastyexperience with the latest "Feature Upgrade" to Windows 10, version 2004, if your PC uses Nvidia graphics there is a known issue with older drivers. From the release notes:
Nvidia and Microsoft have found incompatibility issues with certain versions of Nvidia display adapter drivers and Windows 10, version 2004 (the Windows 10 May 2020 Update). Windows 10 devices with affected Nvidia display driver versions might receive a stop error with a blue screen or other issues during or after installing the update to Windows 10, version 2004. The affected drivers are any version lower than 358.00.
Before you let the update install check that you have the latest driver for your video card. Mine was well out of date! The latest one for the GeForce GT 710 is dated 24 June 2020. I have installed it but am not going to try the update again until it is demanded by the system! There is a list of known issues with v2004 as long as your arm so worth checking this:
