I'm going to wish Nigel and anyone else feeling stressed the best and say take whatever time you need.

That's not to say i am wanting him to leave, but as someone who has suffered at times with work overload which has had a detrimental impact on other aspects of my life i understand the need to step back from things at times ... time can be an excellent healer

Lets all wish for a calm future in the chats upcoming

          Re: Amazon Boycott

You know what, I did not realise there was skirmish about Amazon. Amazon is what it is, usually delivers things I want within 24 hours, how good can that be.

As for the tax stuff, let our wonderful politicians sort that, it does need to be sorted for certain.

ye but, the service that Amazon provides is really good, why can't we (brits) emulate that,,,,,,,,,,,,

                      Re: Amazon Boycott

Oh well, I’ve got nothing to say other than to mourn the passing of Mr Naughty.
I too am a frequent Amazon user and while deploring the tales of poor worker treatment I feel the tax issue is simply a poorly designed system that they and others take advantage of. Sort the system and they will pay their fair share of taxes. I can’t afford to avoid taxes as presumably the accountancy fees would outweigh any tax saved. If I could, I would.

It's because it had a Lithium Ion battery and needed to be sent via Royal Mail with a warning label attached

Latest scam, had a similar call myself yesterday, something along the lines of press 1 to speak to an advisor.
No idea what happens then, request for bank details presumably.

I avoid the Amazon marketplace. I only buy things sold (or at the very worst, fulfilled) by Amazon.
