I've been trying on and off for 2 days to upload some images. I've managed to upload 1 image but that's all. All the other times I've tried, it tells me that my images are uploaded but I don't get the 2nd screen that you need to confirm that you want to upload. It then defaults back to my gallery without uploading the pics.

Anyone got any ideas?
Hi Moneypenny2k. First have you looked at http://e-group.uk.net/video/e-group-...p-gallery.html done by Ian in Video tutorials on the Home page on the right under Highlights. My suggestion is check that the file sizes are small enough to be excepted which is 512kb file size limit, because it may do what you described if too large. Also the normal pixel size recommended (I think) is 800 X 600 (after resizing).
Hope that helps.

Many thanks, I had watched the video but I didn't realise there was a size limit on the photos. Thanks for pointing that out. 10 mins with Picasa later and I'm a happy bunny
... Smaller file sizes are preferable so as to make the photo not useable should anyone try and copy it for commercial purposes.Another Forum which I couldn't possibly name limits the file size of each photo to 200kb.

If I understand the limits correctly, there is no actual " File Size" limitation on this Forum, but there is a limit to pixel size of a photo being a max. of 800 pixels on the largest side. Smaller file sizes are preferable so as to make the photo not useable should anyone try and copy it for commercial purposes.

There is a limit as I posted earlier, of 512kb (which is shown on the upload page) & the way I do it in Oly Viewer is to resize then save as standard quality to minimise the size & only lessen the compression if it is particularly important for one photo by saving as high quality. Remember our gallery limit is 50mb & can hold more photos if they're not too large.
