Very sorry to hear it Steve! Is there little chance of recovery sufficient to take up photography again, then?

          Re: Sadly selling up.

          Hello Jim

I have had a pretty good recovery and will never give up trying as i continue raising the bar every day but i feel i am unlikely to regain the dexterity necessary to operate/hold a camera effectively again. Looks as though the iPhone will be my weapon of choice for now.

          Thanks for asking.

          Cheers

          Steve

I know a guy who is a PAGB judge, very talented photographer and he is a member of the Disabled Photographers Society, here is a link.

They have special gear for folks who have mobility problems, might be worth a look Steve.

                  Re: Sadly selling up.

I'm very sorry to hear this, Steve. My father suffered a catastrophic stroke. It's something I didn't really think that much about until it happened to him.

I do hope your interest in photography can be sustained in other areas.

Thank you all for the kind words it really is appreciated. Looking to gert back into some sort of work as needs must and clearing out my photography kit plus other items is part of the therapy i guess.

                      regards
