  • Soap Bubble Planet

I've only just come across this bit of the site so thought I would try to share a relatively old video from my Bubble photography phase using the 60mm macro and EM-5, slowed down significantly to show the "atmospheric Movement" more effectively (about 20X slower from memory)
Its a 4" diameter bubble lit with two continuous lights through soft boxes, with the bubble blown on a 4" shallow dish inside a black box with the light coming in from holes in the sides

Very classy Brian. All you got to do now is freeze one. Shame the weather has warmed up.

I saw that and my first thought was, "damn, why didn't I think of that" - it was something I've been wanting to do for a long time and never even thought of making use of the cold weather

That's the way to do it! Very organic, I kept expecting to see the Great Red Spot.
