  • Tesni Ward wins WPoTY Animal Portrait category

Tesni Ward, the U.K. Wildlife photographer and Olympus Visionary that several of us here have been on workshops with, has won the Animal Portraits category of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year. Very appropriately (in these times in the U.K.) with a badger image.

She's a great teacher. and it's really good to see her and Olympus successful in this way. Let's hope they market it properly.

For those in the vicinity, Buxton Museum is currently showing an exhibition of her work.
If you visit, be sure to pop into The Green Man Gallery next door.

BTW I've just checked with Tesni, and she confirms that "annoyingly" (her word) the winning image was shot in 2016 just before she switched from Canon to Olympus.
