Since I only upgraded to CO-12 earlier this year (on a good discount) I will be skipping CO-20 & will likely upgrade with CO-21.

I downloaded v20 and got a 30 day trial license. I cannot see enough new features to make me want to shell out the £156 to upgrade from C1Pro v12. Some different UI on the cropping, improved noise reduction and a few other bits and bobs that I would hardly use. Everything I want to do I can do with v12. Some new features like stacking or pano stitching might have swung it. It doesn't feel like a major version upgrade to me, what have I missed!

I upgraded via a pre-order, which gave me a 20% discount. I paid AUD197, which equates to about £103. The much improved raw file convertor and handling of dynamic range did it for me. Living in Australia and taking occasional visits "across the ditch" to New Zealand, the handling of dynamic range is very important to me.

I did give it a fairly thorough testing and there are still some bugs. - For example, one of my E-3 files from 2012 still causes my whole Mac system to freeze. But that was in a batch export of over 1700 files and so I'll wait for the first update before trying it again. Overall, however, my experience is positive.

Yes, I’m finding it OK. No bugs yet, and I’m particularly liking the addition of the black and white sliders and the centralisation of the start points, which will save me time fiddling about with curves I think.

I'm monitoring a couple of FB Groups where some people are reporting problems with the new adjustment panels’ workings, especially on laptops it seems. Mine seem OK. But I haven't used it too much yet I suppose.

I also took the preorder offer, and according to my payments page I last did a paid upgrade nearly 2y ago, so I reckon that’s fair enough.

            Regards,
            Mark
