  • King of Software - is it really ?

Any body used a company called King of Software ( http://www.kingofsoftware.co.uk/ ) ?

Good prices on Adobe CS5 and LR3 but always nervous about such sites given the piracy risk.

    cheers

I've worked hard to be this grumpy. It hasn't been easy at times but it's worth it.

Never used them, but a quick google came up with this http://www.ukbusinessforums.co.uk/fo....php?p=1134766 (you have to scroll down the thread to find the interesting bits!).

Who knows what the truth is, but I'd keep clear.

    Hope this helps.

Keep clear seems like good advice.

        cheers

Re: King of Software - is it really ?

Check out the address given. It's an accommodation address in a block of offices owned by Regus - a legitimate property leasing company who rent out premises by the hour, day, month or whatever. Regus aren't doing anything wrong at all - no suggestion they are - but King Of Software don't seem to have premises to call their own.

King of Software Sells Genuine Software, They Are The Real Deal!

We have bought software from the King of Software for the past 7 years. They are Truly the Real Deal. All of their software is authentic and very fairly priced. When the need for software arises, we always get 3 or more quotes. In most cases, it comes down to iSoftware and King Of Software. King of Software beats Isoftwares prices on most items. The times that we purchased from iSoftware we received genuine software and never encountered any problems.

King of Software's Customer Service has been exceptional. I ordered the wrong version of Photoshop and they shipped the right one to me , no questions asked in less than 24 hours. They have a 100% Satisfaction and Low Price Guarantee. I highly recommend King of Software for all of your software needs. They offer hassle and worry free shopping for authentic retail software and downloads.

At the moment we don't have the evidence to confirm this, Jim ...

CS5 and LR3 are really old versions of the Adobe products. They will not support the latest cameras for direct conversion of Raw files.

Have you checked out the offers from Adobe on their new monthly rate for Creative Cloud versions?
