  • HELP! 40-150 pro Lens hood replacement

Is there a simple 40-150 pro lens hood replacement? That LH-76 is too bulky and when extended, it can he rather intimidating.

Something like this without that slider would be the best.

    Borrowed from Ebay.

Buy a cheap JJC aftermarket from Amazon/ebay and cut it in half.

That would be what I am looking but I do not want the threaded ones. Model of it please.

Correct me if I'm wrong but having just looked at how the LH-76 hood fits onto the lens I would say it was specifically designed for it. I doubt anyone makes a bayonet fitting replacement hood for it at least at the moment. You may just have to resort to the screw fitting type. Personally I really like the design and function of the hood.

after markets will be screw on
don't forget the hood was made like that for a reason.

I would suggest trying a rubber hood that can be folded back ..... great lens protector also
