That might be typical of our future trade deals!

Yup - actually I should have noted that FB often does odd things to image resolution and exposure, so drawing firm conclusions is risky.
It would be good to see some more pro reviews, but I agree with your conclusions re the competition.
              Regards,
              Mark

                  Re: Oly 12-200 f3.5-6.3

Ephotozine have a test of this lens at https://www.ephotozine.com/article/o...s-review-33328

And Robin Wong has published his views here: https://blog.mingthein.com/2019/02/2...-200-f3-5-6-3/

I already have a Mk 1 14-150mm M.Zuiko that is ideally suited to my Pen F for size, and from the above reports I don't see it as giving a better performance, while the extended zoom range is not that significant either. So at the present prices I'll stick with my 14-150 for my Pen F when I need an easily portable 'tourist' outfit (supplemented with my old Lumix 100-300 if I need the tele range). If I need a high quality outfit I'd be carrying
                  my E-M1II and 12-100, 40-150 & MC-14 in a backpack!

24-400 is a whole lot of useful, even when factoring in the inevitable compromises. I'd like to have this lens, but still think the launch price is a little, erm, pricey. I expect (hope?) this will come down.

Being a 'Non-Pro' lens I would think it will. Then again, Pro lenses come down in price too & with some good sales or cash back deals at times.
