Are those be interchangeable? Can a Lumix lens use that MC20?

Can a spacer be added to that protrusion so that other lenses be used?

This is a tricky area and will need some serious Googling. I do know that my Meke spacers don't fit the converters. I think there is a Fotodiox (?) one that will fit though. Exactly what the restrictions to focusing are again something to Google. There is definitely someone on FB who is doing it for moon shots. Sorry Henry I don't have time to look at the moment I'm in a rush to get out.

            I am wondering also.

Back in the 4/3 days those EC14 and EC20 can be used across the board. Why those limitations now?

I have extension tubes by Pixco, the 10mm tube fits over the extension on the MC14 and MC20. There’s guy on under name oneofone25 who explains his work on this

I just found the FB post that uses extension tubes with the 300mm to add the MC14 and the MC20 together and then get moon shots. Hope the link works.

Not sure it gets to the actual post so you need to scroll down to a post from Jeffrey McPheeters on the 7th of November at 05:02. There are several comments attached too.

you got it, that's the guy. I wasn't sure if I could make ref to another site by name.
His work was in particular, to using the 60mm macro lens but of course it also works with the longer pro lenses for close up work.

You'll need to ask the engineers at Olympus about the design of the MC14 and MC20. On the old 4/3rds system it was a lot easier since all lenses were telecentric.
                        Best wishes

I doubt as the TCs have a protruding element towards the lens side, and as far as I know, the only lenses that physically can accommodate the TCs are the 300 F/4 and the 40-150 F/2.8. You cannot even stack the TC on each other.

Tord Jeffrey McPheeters on Facebook used the 300mm f/4 with MC14 and MC20 connected via the Fotodiox Pro 10mm Extension tube to shoot the moon. They do appear to be able to be connected with that extension tube. My previous link if you scroll down a way gives you his post.

I dont use facebook, what order does he assemble the mc20 and mc14. I tried using 2off 10mm spacers and found if you have the camera—->mc20—>10mm ——>10mm——>mc14—->300mm lens then you cant focus to infinity, you have to swop the mc’s round
Did’nt realise you coud use only one 10mm spacer
