  • EP-1 failure

I purchased my EP-1 on the night of release at Jessops, I thought I'd inform members that the camera has failed in recording colour, there are vague patches of colour info the rest is as if the shot was taken through a gauze, conversion to Mono is ok, but I am waiting on Olympus now.

    Re: EP-1 failure

Bad luck. I have borrowed several E-1 and E-P2 bodies from Olympus and all have worked faultlessly, with two exceptions - the very original pre production lenses had a fault that meant the aperture in the exif data could be misreported, and one E-P1 had a broken battery clip (the plastic clip that stops the battery from falling out). Otherwise, no imaging or electronic problems at all.
