So I can effectively calibrate my own copies of the lenses to my own copy of the EM-1. Fantastic!

I notice that your review says that the E-5, E-30 and E-620 have similar capabilities. I didn't know that. I might have signed up earlier to the E-5 if I had known!

Robin Wong has updated his blog and it now features some stunning macro images taken with the E-M1 and his first experiments using CAF with the 12-40 lens. I think the results are very impressive.

Yes, it was introduced after the E-3. Of course the E-M1 let's you view the calibration from the sensor live view as you make the adjustment which is not possible with the other cameras.

In your review on FT user you make the point that there are no cross type focus points. As cross type focus points have been deemed necessary in previous FT models what is the implication for real life shooting with the EM1?

I don't consider turning the camera to portrait mode a viable solution.

I've just spotted that if you own the EM-5 and pre-order the EM-1 in the UK you can get the 4/3rds adapter as well as the battery grip for free.
I had already registered for the grip and received my confirmation code and have now received the same for the adapter
If it works out it will be a cracking good deal!
