  • OM1 give away - really!

UPDATE - I hope I haven't disappointed too many of you but of course I have a big box of OM1 commemorative miniatures. You can see photos and details here: http://e-group.uk.net/forum/showthre...254#post152254

Claim your miniature details now up - go to: http://e-group.uk.net/forum/showthread.php?t=19005

I have a box full of dozens of Olympus OM1 camera bodies and lenses. Anyone interested in them? They are brand new too. They do seem a lot smaller than I remember.

Yeah, don't look too closely, just close the box up and ship it over here ... I'm sure the warehouse wouldn't send the wrong things would they?

The bodies are all silver ones and don't have the hot-shoe attachment (that was an optional extra of course). It's difficult to tell what lenses I have - one looks like a 50mm f/1.4 and the other seems to be a 135mm. Hmmm... looking at them again, they do look incredibly small!

A 50mm f1.4 would be nice if there's one going.

If you come across a 90mm f2 macro put it a side for me(some hope)

I can't guarantee them of course. So you will have to take them as they come. But they are all identical in condition and brand new. But they do look very small...

I will post some photos later this morning.

Re: OM1 give away - really!

Ian. I dreamt of owning one of these back in 1976 when a friend brought one in to college. It was way out of my price range at the time but was responsible for my lifelong love of Olympus since. I never did own one; I bought an OM10 and OM2 SP (which I still have and is still working), so the chance of getting an OM1 body as a memento would be great. Thanks.

Brand new! If there's an om1 and lens going I'd like one too. I do have an om1 but it's seen better days.
Would like donations for these? Something to charity perhaps?
Want some help distributing them? As an avid film user I'd be very happy to help get a lot more people back into using the real thing!
