Whenever I use my 300mm f4 + 1.4x TC, my OMD EM1 ii gets through batteries in no time, perhaps it's the lens, the type of usage it gets, or a bit of both.

So I'm wondering whether a much larger...

Re: Lens hoods and polarising filters

I have just discovered on e-Bay a JJC version of the lenshood for the 12-40mm Pro lens.
It has an opening aperture on the side so that the filter can be rotated.
I have one on order.

Re: Olympus 150 - 400

Canon have had a 200-400 f4 with a built in 1.4 converter for years, you just flick a switch and it swings into position all internally. Very good but very very expensive.
